Individually, our stories have been filled with startling contradictions and dramatic twists, which at times we have accepted, periodically fought but eventually have come to appreciate greatly.

We have evolved and transformed as we progressed through our individual stories since starting in West Memphis, Arkansas, and Detroit, Michigan. Some events seemed messy through each progressive chapter, and experiences felt contradictory and odd. Still, all along each page flip was leading us to perfectly discover each other in Orlando, Florida in 2013. We started dating four years later, which eventually led us to get married in 2018.

It was essential for us to live out our marriage and navigate our family with a purpose from the very beginning. As a result, we peered into our missions for insight and prayerfully petitioned for guidance in discovering our family mission. Individually, our family mission is lived out through our existing ventures:

• CREDO Conduit, a coworking space
  Blank Canvas Studio A, an adult paint night and children’s art program company.

Additionally, we combine our efforts to conduct art, entrepreneurship, and educational workshops for children and adults living in underserved communities throughout Orlando and Havana, Cuba, and care for our son, Roman Christian.

Last but not least, our ultimate desire is for God to use our marriage, work, and family to provide hope and a glimpse of His unconditional love to every community and person He calls us to do life with.
